After five years in a Yamaha, Jeb Bootle has joined Polaris for the 2025 Championship Off-Road season. He will race a Polaris RZR XP 1000 in the Pro Stock SxS class and an RZR Pro R in Pro SxS.
“Super excited about that,” Bootle commented in a video posted to his social media. “I can’t wait to work with those guys. Those guys have a good, good program going on.”
Bootle is no stranger to Polaris, having started his career with the marque while his father also competed in one. Eventually, he found himself in a Yamaha prepared by Rodney VanEperen’s Powersports 1.
He finished runner-up in the 2024 Pro SxS standings with a pair of wins at Bark River. On the Pro Stock SxS side, Bootle notched a victory at Dirt City en route to a third in points. The year before saw him respectively place eighth and third in Pro Turbo (now Pro SxS) and Pro Stock.
“Definitely matured with them and grown with them and I’m going to miss the memories, the good and bad ones, and the blessings and opportunities that came along with it with them,” said Bootle. “It was definitely one heck of a ride and thank them.
“I want to thank them for an amazing side-by-side and for what they’ve done for for my racing career and my program.”
While Championship Off-Road is his main focus, he added he “might be doing a couple of desert races with [Polaris] this year. That’s still being worked out.” Polaris has quickly established itself as arguably the top side-by-side manufacturer in desert racing, winning the last two SCORE Pro UTV Open championships with Polaris Factory Racing as well as the SSV class at the Dakar Rally in January.
Conversely, his increased schedule in the RZR family means he is unable to compete regularly in the Durhamtown SXS Race Series at his local Durhamtown Off Road Resort in Georgia, where his father works as race director. Bootle still intends to head home on occasion to help out, even if not racing.
