Rebecca Busi, unable to race the 2025 Dakar Rally after a sponsor backed out at the last minute, confirmed Tuesday that her partnership with OnlyFans has wrapped up after two years.

“The sponsorship with OnlyFans arrived to an end,” Busi wrote in a message to her subscribers. “I really enjoyed this year with them, they helped me to grow and have a chance in motorsport.”

OnlyFans, an online subscription service, became the primary sponsor of Busi’s Can-Am Maverick starting with the 2023 Dakar Rally. Although OnlyFans is commonly associated with pornography, Busi exclusively uses her account for racing news that she does not publish elsewhere.

OF ramped up the collaboration for 2024 to dub her team “OnlyFans Racing”. After finishing 22nd in the SSV class at Dakar, she scored podium finishes in the SSV class across the four remaining events. Her best finish was a second at the BP Ultimate Rally-Raid, while a third at the Rallye du Maroc pushed her up to third in the final standings.

Despite plans of racing the 2025 Dakar, she announced in mid-December that she lost her sponsor while training. Efforts to salvage the entry failed, with Busi explaining she couldn’t afford the trip even if she pooled together money from everyone she knew.

With the end of her sponsorship, she expects to resume posting on other platforms like Instagram but added she might still use OF.

Diego Martinez has replaced Busi as the driver of the #408 Maverick R for South Racing. Her navigator Sergio Lafuente will remain in his post.
