After four parts of building up to the race, Episode 5 of Polaris’ Tough Doesn’t Quit: Defending Dakar lands in Saudi Arabia.

Unlike the first four episodes, the latest is twice as long at over ten minutes. Most Tough Doesn’t Quit episodes are typically less than five minutes in length, with the previous longest in Defending Dakar being the 5:23 pilot.

After focusing on the bivouac in Bisha during shakedown, the episode covers the first half of the rally starting with the Prologue. Every stage from the first until the rest day (Stages #2, #3, #4, and #5) is discussed, including comments from drivers Brock Heger and Xavier de Soultrait and their teams.

Since each episode is released on Friday, Episode 5’s premiere coincided with the 12th and final stage of the Dakar Rally. We won’t spoil you on if Polaris succeeded in defending Dakar, but you can probably peek around this site if you’re impatient.

Episode 2 focused on the Polaris RZR Pro R Factory and Episode 3 followed Heger and Soultrait, while the fourth was about the trust between them and their navigators.
