Rallye Breslau will return to the military grounds of Żagań and Drawsko Pomorskie for its 31st edition in June. However, it will also conclude by the Baltic Sea for the first time as the final stage heads to the Polish city of Kołobrzeg.

The race has long been held on the armored training grounds at Żagań and Drawsko, both military bases used by the Polish Armed Forces and its NATO allies including a permanent U.S. Army garrison at the former. Drawsko’s training ground is also used for the Polish Cross-Country Rally Championship’s Baja Drawsko and FIA European Baja Cup’s Baja Poland.

Kołobrzeg is a port town alongside the Baltic Sea’s southern coast and roughly an hour-long drive from Drawsko. The town and the two military installations will serve as the race’s bivouacs.

Before the race begins at Żagań, competitors will be allowed to do a shakedown for the first time on June 21. A 13-kilometer test course will be marked for them to use.

The Prologue takes place on June 22 followed by full racing the next day. Żagań is filled with sand and tight forest trails, making it a very technical course that race organizers describe as the “Polish Sahara”.

Stage #3 will be the “El Grande Hannibal”, the longest leg at 400 kilometers in length as the race follows the Hannibal tank road from Żagań to Drawsko. Drawsko will host two stages on June 26, the second of which is at night.

Finally, the race heads to Kołobrzeg for the fifth and final day.

The rally spans 1,210 kilometers in total.
