Ricardo Porém will debut the Kaizen S1, a new Challenger car developed by Cattiva Sport, at the Baja Aragón.

Cattiva Sport is a Portuguese team that competes in the domestic CPTT, typically fielding cars in the Ultimate class based on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. For example, their latest project was the Mercedes CaTTiva Proto X, which uses an engine from a Mercedes-Benz 350SL.

While Porém mainly races in the Challenger class these days, he’s also raced the CaTTiva Mercedes over the years.

Porém wrote on Thursday:

KAIZEN, THE NEW CHALLENGE(R)

In partnership with CATTIVA SPORT, we’ll officially debut the brand-new KAIZEN at @bajaaragon.

KAIZEN is a 100% Portuguese, 100% Leiria-based project, developed by a team with many years of off-road experience and a contagious passion for the sport.

Once again, I’m counting on Nuno Sousa as my navigator. He’s been a true racing and adventure companion with whom I’ve shared the latest races.

We’re ready to give it our all. Let’s go all out!

Porém retired from the Dakar Rally in January, where he raced an MMP T3.

The Baja España Aragón will take place on July 24–27.
