Officially, an Extreme E/H team fields a single car for two drivers. With enough funding and support, however, one could theoretically have multiple.
Kristoffersson Motorsport is proving this to be the case with Team EVEN, which is officially described as a second KMS car. While team leader Johan Kristoffersson and Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky race under the KMS banner, Team EVEN is a second KMS entry to be driven by Ole Christian Veiby and Hedda Hosås.
Veiby is a WRC2 winner who went on to compete as Kristoffersson’s teammate at KMS in World Rallycross. He finished third in the latter’s 2024 and 2025 standings, scoring two wins during the latter. The 29-year-old has also raced in Nitro Rallycross.
“I’m always excited to take on something new, and Extreme E and Extreme H feel like a natural fit for my rallying background,” said Veiby. “I’ve experienced driver changes in endurance racing and had to make quick fixes in rallying, so I feel well prepared for the challenges ahead. Teaming up with Hedda is a real advantage too, she’s already tested the Extreme H car and brings valuable insight. It’s also special to line up as a fully Norwegian team.”
Hosås was a longtime test driver for Extreme E and H, a role that includes testing XH’s Pioneer 25. She also raced two XE seasons for JBXE in 2022 and 2023, scoring a podium at the 2022 Island X Prix I.
More recently, Hosås has been dabbling in cross-country rally. She finished tenth in SSV at her W2RC debut in February and was 15th in class at the Baja Aragón five months later.
“Racing with Hydrogen and the new car is a big step forward, both for performance and sustainability,” Hosås added. “It’s exciting to be part of something that points towards the future of motorsport. I have been a part of the testing program since the start, so I’m really excited.
“I’m really proud to be a part of KMS Team EVEN. The main goal is to fight for the top positions, while also learning as much as possible in such a great time with the KMS team. Really excited to team up with Ole Christian Veiby as he has a lot of experience too.”
