With the FIA European Historic Rally Championship splitting into three trophies in 2026, each will follow their own calendars with some overlap.

The Pre-1992 Championship will be seven races long, Pre-2000 has eight, and the Gravel Championship at five. Gravel will run a fully different schedule from its tarmac-based siblings.

Pre-1992 and Pre-2000 will share XX dates starting with the season-opening Rally Costa Brava Històric in Spain. They will also link up for the Ardeca Ypres Rally, Rallye Weiz, and the finale at the Rallye Elba Storico.

In total, there are 16 rallies under the EHRC banner across 12 countries.

“The new FIA European Historic Rally Championships structure encourages growth by giving competitors from different eras and surfaces a clear and dedicated platform within the FIA historic rally framework,” said FIA Historic Motor Sport Committee boss Roger Wills. “Those passionate about the iconic 1993–2000 generation now have a championship to compete among comparable machinery, while the heritage of pre-1992 cars is safeguarded through a series focused solely on that era. The introduction of the FIA EHRC Gravel Championship will broaden participation further, easing the logistical challenges of switching setups and strengthening overall engagement in historic rallying.

“The 2026 calendars also represent a significant expansion of the FIA Historic Rally footprint, with seven exciting new rounds joining the EHRC umbrella.”
