Martin Šoltys will race a new truck developed by Buggyra Racing, called the Buggyra Invictus, at the 2026 Dakar Rally. The Tatra Buggyra Evo3 that he drove in 2025 will be assumed by Karel Poslední.
Buggyra’s Truck division revealed their 2026 Dakar program on Wednesday at the headquarters of their new primary sponsor ALBIXON. Based in Hořovice (where Poslední and Šoltys also come from), the company specializes in building pools and pool enclosures.
The Invictus is largely based on the Evo3 but lighter. The front end has been resigned with a more angular hood and less rounded top corners and a wider intercooler.
Officially, the Invictus is still considered a Tatra even though its badge is not on the truck. Instead, the ALBIXON is prominently displayed on the grille and around the truck. ALBIXON is also sponsoring the Evo3.
Šoltys finished 14th in Truck at the 2025 Dakar while Poslední placed 11th in the Tatra Phoenix. The Evo3 was introduced in 2024, where it was driven by Pascal de Baar in injury relief for Šoltys.
