ERX Motor Park is the only track that hosts Championship Off-Road and AMSOIL Championship Snocross races, both properties of the International Series of Champions. On Thrusday, ISOC announced it has assumed management of the Elk River track.

Chris Carlson and Todd Plaisted are still track owners, having built the venue in 2008 as a snocross facility before expanding to short course.

“At ERX, racing has always been more than competition; it’s about people, families, and a shared love of the sport,” Carlson stated. “This collaboration is good news for the sport, the teams, and the families who make snocross what it is today: a sport fueled by passion and heart.”

The takeover comes a month before ERX’s snowmobile season begins. On December 20-21, the new ERX Snocross Super Series will debut with four weekends scheduled (January 17–18, February 7–8, and February 28 – March 1) for all riders to take part. ERX also operates the Grassroots Snocross Series for amateurs, which will host events on December 18, January 15, and February 5 and 28.

Its premier snocross races are the 1990s sled-based Ditchbanger National on January 30–31 and the ERX Snocross National on March 6–7. The latter is the sixth round of the 2026 Championship Snocross season.

Once the snow has melted, the track transitions to dirt for short course. The ERX Off-Road National, the halfway point of the Championship Off-Road slate, is on July 10–12.

“We’re excited to partner with ISOC as we enter this next chapter for ERX,” ERX business manager Heidi Goodin commented. “This collaboration will benefit both organizations, as ISOC brings additional bandwidth and resources that will help us continue delivering the world-class events our fans and community expect. While ISOC takes on management responsibilities, our ERX team will remain closely involved in steering the ship, ensuring the same spirit and purpose that made ERX what it is today continue.”
