Seth Quintero will try his hand at rallying for the first time in 2026, piloting the new Toyota GR Corolla RC2 in the American Rally Association starting with the 100 Acre Wood Rally.
Quintero is coming off a fifth-place points finish in the W2RC. 2025 was his second season with Toyota Gazoo Racing, highlighted by a third at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and two stage wins at Dakar. While the W2RC is his main focus, Quintero has continued to dabble in various races back home in the United States such as the Vegas to Reno and Crandon World Cup.
2026 is the last year of his current contract with TGR, but the team’s expansion into ARA with him suggests a longer commitment if he fares well.
TGR WRC2 member Topi Luhtinen will serve as his co-driver.
Toyota fields the Yaris in the WRC and WRC2, but opted for the Corolla for ARA. The ARA’s RC2 is roughly the same as Rally2 at the FIA level.
Even with the ARA added to his 2026 calendar, the team stressed Quintero will still compete “in parallel with” the World Rally-Raid Championship.
