Adam Andretti will be the 22nd driver to compete in both the Stadium Super Trucks and a NASCAR national division when he debuts in the Craftsman Truck Series races in 2026. He is slated to run four races for TRICON Garage at Atlanta, St. Petersburg, Watkins Glen, and San Diego.
While St. Petersburg and Watkins Glen (and technically San Diego) have both been on the SST calendar, Andretti instead raced the 2017 Race & Rock World Championship at Lake Elsinore and the 2018 Road America weekend. At the former, he failed to qualify for Race 1 and was taken out by a mechanical issue in the second. Road America, a track he’s more than familiar with as a Trans-Am Series regular, saw him place 11th and ninth.
Younger brother of the late John Andretti, he has raced in Trans-Am for over a decade. In 2025, he finished runner-up to Paul Menard in the TA standings.
“I am beyond blessed to be able to make my first ever NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta for TopLiner and TRICON Garage,” Andretti stated. “I want to thank everyone involved for making this such a special debut. The combination of the Andretti legacy, the brilliance of the TopLiner spray-in bed liner product, and Tricon Garage’s winning track record should make this a can’t-miss race for fans of ours worldwide.”
Although Andretti adds to the list of drivers with SST and NASCAR national experience, his Truck debut doesn’t change the total number of drivers who’ve raced SST and NASCAR in general. Including regional series, he is one of 29 drivers: Andretti did a one-off in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (now ARCA Menards Series East) in 2016 as well as two Pinty’s Series races in Canada the following year.
Ben Maier had bumped the former category up to 21 last year when he raced Lime Rock and the Charlotte Roval.
