Organizers of the Rebelle Rally have created a new race called the Trinitē Road Rally, which will take place on May 4–7. It is a regularity rally spanning roughly 500 miles, starting at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge and finishing at Sonoma Raceway.
After tech inspection and a welcome reception at the Golden Gate Club on May 4, the race begins the next day at the Bay Area Discovery Museum by the Golden Gate Bridge and finishes just north of Fort Bragg along the Pacific Ocean. Day 2 of racing goes to The River Electric, a camp resort in Guerneville, while the last day will bring the rally to Sonoma Raceway. The iconic NASCAR road course will then host a track day for competitors as well as the awards ceremony.
While 2026 takes place in northern California, the organizers plan to bring the race to other locations in the future.
“The Trinitē is a platform for participants to shine as well as the vehicles we drive every day,” Emily Miller, creator of both rallies, stated. “We believe that motorsport should be experienced by all, not as merely a spectator sport.”
Unlike the women-only Rebelle, Trinitē is open to all genders.
Vehicles are split into three categories: Car for sedans and sports cars, Classic for those built in 1985 or earlier, and X-Cross for 4WD vehicles like SUVs and trucks. Electric cars are also permitted. Since the race will primarily be on paved open roads, the race is designed to celebrate “the vehicles in our driveways.”
Over 40 teams will take part, most of which are invited by the organizers while the remaining spots are on a sign-up basis.
