The 2026 SCORE season will kick off with the 39th San Felipe 250. The race begins and finishes in its namesake city with racing taking place over a loop spanning 281.85 miles for Pro Four-Wheelers, 284 miles for Moto/Quad, and 246.44 miles for Sportsman Four-Wheelers.

While all three categories have different courses, they all go clockwise with a single physical checkpoint at RM 187.48 in Ejido Morelia. Seven speed zones will be present, some maintaining a max speed of 37 mph and others are 60 mph. The BFGoodrich pit is at RM 141.10 by Morelia Junction and past Huatamote Wash.

Upon leaving San Felipe’s malecón, everyone will head toward the dunes where the timing loop is located. The first stop will be Percebu along Federal Highway 5.

The bikes will split off at Ejido Delicias on RM 29.7, where they’ll then head to the Matomi Wash and Llanos de San Fermin. They will also cross the washes at El Parral and Huatamote, reuniting with the Four-Wheelers here. After the physical checkpoint is a run by the Diablo dry lakebed before splitting off again at RM 211.20.

Motorcycles then go past Agua Amarga and Federal Highway 3, Ejido Saldana, and Cerro del Chinero before passing the highway again. Finally, their course runs along Highway 5 and past San Felipe’s landfill to the dunes.

Meanwhile, the Four-Wheelers will continue on from Highway 5 to Llanos El Moreno. Pro classes go to Matomi Wash whereas Sportsman bypass it in favor of a 37.4-mile alternate route that reconnects at RM 91.80. Chanate Wash and Ejido Morelia await before hitting the physical checkpoint.

Other landmarks include Colonia San Pedro Mártir, the Diabo lakebed, Cuevitas Wash, Llanos El Moreno, Zoo Road, and Ojos Negros.

Everyone comes back together at RM 217.86.

The course is a return to the race mileage being in the 280s after a much shorter 250.06-mile run in 2025.

Pre-running will open on Friday, March 20. Raceday is on March 28.
