Century Racing has set up a division in Europe, the South African rally raid manufacturer announced Wednesday.

The company produces the CR6 2WD car as well as the flagship CR7 T1+ vehicle. Mathieu Serradori, whose SRT (Serradori Racing Team) is a close partner of Century, won Stage 10 at January’s Dakar Rally with the CR7 to make Century just the second manufacturer to win a Dakar stage with both two- and four-wheel-drive models.

Serradori went on to finish Dakar with an impressive sixth overall.

“We are very pleased to announce our expansion, although we have always felt we were one big family from the start,” said CEO Julien Hardy. “Mathieu has been our most successful driver over the past few years, and the relationship has matured to a point where we consider ourselves as one team. Each side brings a dedicated set of skills, and our combined effort has resulted in us being able to fight with the very best in the world recently. This partnership will hopefully bring us to the next level of performance.”

Serradori and Brian Baragwanath comprise Century’s factory team, though the company also preps and supports clients in a multitude of races within and beyond the World Rally-Raid Championship. EBRO and Santana Motors’ T1+ cars are actually rebadged CR7s, with SRT supporting the latter at Dakar while Century preps the EBRO s800 XRR.

Laia Sanz’s EBRO and Serradori are currently racing Century cars in the BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal.

SVR, a fellow South African company that builds the Toyota Hilux IMT EVO for Toyota Gazoo Racing South Africa, also set up a European branch last May. The flagship TGR, which is based in Europe, likewise expanded its operations for 2026 to work alongside the Belgian Overdrive Racing.
