Nobody had much of an answer for Daniel Sanders as the KTM rider led the Dakar Rally bikes from start to finish, but Monster Energy Honda Team put up a heck of a fight.

Tosha Schareina chased Sanders for much of the race but was unable to close the gap, while Adrien Van Beveren joined him and Sanders on the overall podium. Defending winner Ricky Brabec was fifth ahead of fellow American and teammate Skyler Howes. The team’s fifth rider Pablo Quintanilla retired due to a crash.

On Monday, Honda published an in-depth look into the team’s operations and Dakar. Spanning over 19 and a half minutes, the video begins as early as the 2025 Dakar presentations and pre-race testing before heading to Saudi Arabia. Race coverage comprises the final 13 minutes.
