The Taurus Evo Max, a successor to the Taurus T3 Max, is in development and slated to debut at the Baja España Aragón in July. 12 units will be produced before the 2026 Dakar Rally, which will be reserved only for those who are certain they will take part.

The Evo Max is touted as being lighter and more aerodynamic than its predecessor, featuring a lower center of gravity, redesigned chassis, and more comfort in the cockpit for the driver and navigator. Taurus also plans to provide team-specific customization options.

Its design was finalized last December, and some components were brought to the 2025 Dakar Rally for testing. The official reveal will take place on April 1.

Differences in chassis design between the Taurus T3 Max and Taurus Evo Max

Customers can make reservations for the car for €215,000 prior to April with an initial deposit of €50,000. Sales will open to the general public after that, but prices will vary.

The Evo Max will also be available as a kit car, as part of the new “Taurus in a Box” program, starting May 2026 at €207,500 until April 1 (mandatory deposit of €25,000).

Support for the T3 Max will continue. The T3 Max has been wildly successful in recent years, winning the Challenger class at the last two Dakar Rallies and sweeping the top five at the latest edition.
