Starting March 1, the Taurus T3 Max can be delivered either fully assembled or in a crate of parts for you to build yourself. The “Taurus in a Box” program was launched Wednesday, offering kit cars of the Taurus T3 Max and the upcoming Taurus Evo Max for customers.

Each package comes with the parts, an assembly manual that is over 500 pages long, and contact information for “daily technical support”. A mechanic can also be on hand for testing and training if requested. Taurus described the deal as “like a competition-grade LEGO set”.

Only ten units will be available for 2025 at €207,500 each with a €30,000 deposit. For the Taurus Evo Max, the deposit is €25,000 though the reservation price is the same through April 1.

Such a deal is intended to support customers while saving time and costs for the main Taurus factory in the Netherlands from assembling it themselves. Even if not part of the factory team proper, Taurus hopes to provide similar levels of assistance for its clients.

The Taurus T3 Max has won the Challenger class at the last two Dakar Rallies, including a dominant 2025 edition in which it swept the top five. Its successor, the Evo Max, will be unveiled in April before debuting at the Baja Aragón in July.
