Louis Louka has been named an ambassador of MY Gallery. He had been running this week’s Safari Rally Kenya with the firm’s logo on his firesuit before MY announced his appointment on Saturday.

MY Gallery is a showroom and community hub focused on researching, restoring, and showcasing rally cars throughout the World Rally Championship’s history. Yves Matton, who oversaw Citroën Racing’s WRC and WTCC teams before working as the FIA’s rally and rally raid director, founded the company in 2022 as a wing of MY Racing and MY Vintage. The latter is the vintage arm of MY Racing, who prepares competition rally cars.

Cars in the gallery’s inventory have included the Citroën D3 with which Sébastien Ogier won four races in 2011, the 1993 Ford Escort GR.A that won the Belgian Rally Championship, and Robert Kubica’s 2013 WRC2-winning Citroën DS3. Pavement racers have also been serviced by MY Gallery such as a 2005 Suzuki Swift S1600 that Suzuki fielded as an R&D vehicle before competing in the Motorsport UK Asphalt Championship and most notably the 2015 Citroën C-Elysée that won the 2016 World Touring Car Championship with José Maria Lopez.

Louka was already employed by MY Gallery prior to becoming its ambassador, where he is “in charge of vehicle documentation, logistics, and day-to-day file management.”

“It is a great honor to represent MY Gallery at the highest level of motorsport,” said Louka. “The rally cars that you can find in the workshops of MY Gallery are usually the cars that inspired my love for rallying. Now at 31, I still cherish the passion instilled by the legendary cars from the late 90s and early 2000s, a passion I share with the team at MY Gallery.”

The Belgian is the co-driver for Grégoire Munster, currently in their third season with M-Sport. After 13 special stages, they sit ninth overall in Louka’s first race with the MY logo.

Munster and Louka finished eighth in the 2024 WRC standings. They made their debut in rally’s highest rung together in 2019 after competing in the national level.

“The choice of Louis was clear,” began Matton. “He has a profound passion for rallying, competes at the highest level himself, and possesses extensive knowledge of the sport’s history and its iconic cars, which are at the heart of MY Gallery’s activities.

“Finding these rare gems, certifying their authenticity, advising and establishing contact between potential buyers and sellers, and assisting owners with the restoration, maintenance and use of their classic cars, all this forms the DNA of MY Gallery.

“This expertise is grounded in solid foundations, thanks to the many contacts that we have been able to develop over more than 20 years in top-level motorsport. These connections have allowed us to create an extensive network of designers, engineers, team managers and drivers, who have an in-depth knowledge of these cars. Louis Louka’s ambassadorial role, alongside his professional duties as a co-driver in the WRC, will undoubtedly add value and will further enhance MY Gallery’s activities.”
