Kove USA will offer prize money to riders in the Pro Moto Adventure category for the second year in a row, this time with a bigger purse.

The Pro Moto Adventure winner at each SCORE race will earn $3,000. Second place gets $1,500 while third wins $500. The prize is available to all riders regardless of manufacturer, though Kove has been the only one present since the class’ debut.

Pro Moto Adventure was introduced in 2024 for bikes primarily used in rally raids. Such motorcycles differ from their desert racing counterparts as they are equipped with a navigation tower and windshield, along with larger fuel tanks to complete a given rally stage.

Hoping to stimulate entries, Kove Moto, who has competed at the Dakar Rally since 2023, and its American distributor became a contingency sponsor for the 2024 season. That year, the Pro Moto Adventure race winner earned $2,500 while runner-up received $1,000 and third got $500. Kove USA also offered $1,000 for the first five riders to sign up for the class at the 2024 San Felipe 250.

The class’ rulebook was expanded for 2025 to allow larger rally bikes. Most rally raid bikes are 450cc, though larger models are also used outside of FIM competition and in the FIM Bajas World Cup’s Trail class. Likewise, the 2025 regulations now allow twin-cylinder motorcycles between 651cc and 1000cc in addition to the usual single-cylinder 250–750cc machines. The navigation tower and windscreen are still mandatory, while riders can have a roadbook holder but it is not required.

Dustin Davis won the inaugural Pro Moto Adventure championship with a class win at the Baja 400.

Kove’s bonuses are part of a record $1.6 million in contingency for the 2025 SCORE season.
