Bradley Cox has traded in orange for blue. On Wednesday, Sherco announced Cox as the newest member of Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team with his debut taking place later this month at the South African Safari Rally.

Cox had spent his entire bike career on a KTM, including entering rally raids with BAS World KTM Racing Team in 2021. On a KTM 450 Rally, he won the W2RC’s Rally2 championship in 2024 before graduating to the top-level RallyGP for 2025. However, his only RallyGP start with KTM at January’s Dakar Rally ended with a crash halfway.

He left BAS World in April with the hope of joining a team offering factory support. While being on a works program is not mandatory for RallyGP, privateers obviously do not fare as well as their factory counterparts.

“It is a dream come true to ride for a factory team and I am looking forward to what is to come,” said Cox. “I already have spent some days on the bike and I feel super comfortable and at home on it. Excited for the races that are coming up for us and especially the W2RC round in South Africa.”

He will team up with Rui Gonçalves and Lorenzo Santolino in RallyGP, while the team also has Harith Noah in Rally2. Santolino scored a stage win at Dakar.

His move to Sherco marks a wave of rider roster changes ahead of the South African Safari Rally on May 18–24. Rally2 points leader Tobias Ebster signed with Hero earlier this week, filling the void left by Sebastian Bühler’s exit.
