After what happened at the ERX Off-Road National, Dirt City Motorplex might need to set up an MMA ring when Championship Off-Road comes in two weeks.

Saturday’s Pro Lite race stopped as soon as it started when Michael Funk rolled multiple times just moments after the green flag following an entanglement with Connor Barry. In Sunday’s Pro SPEC event, Nick Visser was peeved at Wyatt Miller for an aggressive pass on the final lap for third.

Funk and Barry started Pro Lite Race 1 on the front row after an inversion. The former pulled ahead and drifted in front of Barry as they entered Turn 1, leading to Barry’s nose tapping his rear. The contact caused Funk’s truck to get sideways off the jump, where he landed with multiple rolls that launched his right front wheel into the air. Joe Maciosek moved left in an attempt to avoid Funk but was impacted on the passenger’s side.

“I was already almost over before I even hit the ground,” Funk noted. “Shows how hard I was pushed.”

He did not start Race 2 due to the damage, while Barry finished fourth.

As Chris Van Den Elzen cruised to the Pro SPEC weekend sweep, Visser battled with Dylan Parsons for second while Miller followed. Parsons eventually pulled ahead, leaving Visser to fight off Miller in the final six minutes.

Miller gradually closed the gap until the last lap, catching Visser in the final corner. The former threw his truck down Visser’s inside and the two collided, Miller briefly clearing him until Visser gave his left rear a shunt. Miller managed to keep his truck steady and hang on for third.

After crossing the line, Visser expressed his displeasure by hitting the back of Miller’s truck again before giving him the middle finger.

“I got a great run on Nick and I went to the inside,” Miller explained. “I don’t know what he was mad about. He does that to us every race, so I just fed it back to him.”

Sunday was one of survival for Saturday’s Pro 4 winner CJ Greaves, who lost his front-wheel drive. Even with power going to just his rear wheels, he still finished third behind Jimmy Henderson and Andrew Carlson. Kyle Greaves finished fifth in injury relief duty for Johnny Greaves.

Pro 2 would have been the Keegan Kincaid Show, but he ultimately only dominated one-and-a-half races rather than two. Riding high after his dramatic Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run victory, Kincaid was the top truck on Saturday until it stalled during the competition caution and Ricky Gutierrez instead scored his first win of 2025. Kincaid rebounded by dominating on Sunday ahead of that day’s Pro Lite winner John Holtger.

Jordan Bernloehr had a wild home race weekend in Pro Buggy. He suffered a flat tire on Saturday that dropped him to last before clawing his way back into third. The next day, he got by Zachary Drapkin to score the win.

After Yamaha’s Owen VanEperen won Pro SxS’ Race 1, former Yamaha driver Jeb Bootle held him off for the Race 2 triumph.

Emma Lytle lost the Sunday Youth SxS win to a black flag for passing leader Logan Fritzinger under caution and whizzing past the safety crew attending to an overturned Keegan Gearhart. With Lytle unaware of the penalty (Fritzinger surmised “something happened with the comms”), she continued to race and beat him to the finish before being disqualified.

Jared Jadin, the Pro Am SxS winner on Saturday, was knocked out the next day by contact that spun him into the K-rail and a single flip.
