The Valley Off Road Racing Association celebrated its 50th season in 2025. As the Nevada-based desert series enters 2026, it’s gotten a bit of a facelift with a new logo.
VORRA revealed its five-race 2026 calendar on Sunday. Most of the dates are relatively the saame like the season-opening Prospector 250, midseason Night Vision 250, and concluding Gold Rush remain. The Stomping Grounds 300 also remains the penultimate round.
The Not for the Weeks of Heart is one such addition, filling the slot previously held by the Nevada Wild in Hawthorne. The race name is a play on words as it will take place in Weeks, and is slated to be between 225 and 250 miles.
While Hawthorne is off, the sanctioning body is looking into finding a spot for the town.
During the 2025 season, VORRA also jointly hosted Baja Nevada The Long Way with Legacy Racing. It will return to its usual, shorter distance as simply the “Baja Nevada” in 2026 under Legacy sanction.
