Why fix what isn’t broken?

Season 7 of Championship Off-Road features zero changes from the previous one, with the same eight races in their existing slots across seven tracks. The only changes concern the calendar, such as races being moved a few weeks to a month earlier.

“This championship continues to thrive because of the passion and dedication of everyone involved, from our racers and teams to our fans and partners,” series president Carl Schubitzke stated. “We’ve seen tremendous growth over the past few years, and 2026 will showcase that momentum across every stop on the tour. The future of short course racing has never been brighter.”

The 2026 campaign begins in the start of May with the second Show-Me Off-Road Shootout at Lucas Oil Speedway. The Wheatland track was the series’ first trip to Missouri this year and had been a burgeoning stop for Sportsman classes and UTVs before being added to the COR calendar.

While Wheatland is on the first days of May, Antigo Lions Roaring Raceway will host races on the last. It was previously held in June.

Round 3 will be the first of two rounds at the legendary Crandon International Raceway with the Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run. As always, it’ll conclude with a Pro 2 vs. Pro 4 race that doesn’t have points implications. Expect plenty of highlights from the 2025 race, which had probably the wildest finish of any race regardless of discipline in recent memory, to be used as promotional material.

ERX Motor Park marks the midway point of the season, followed by fellow July date Dirt City Motorplex.

C.J. Greaves scored his historic 200th short course win at Bark River International Raceway in 2025, which is the only race in August.

The season will end for Sportsman classes with the Crandon World Championship Races on Labor Day weekend. The round is the largest of the year because it includes a bevy of non-Champ races such as Class 11 and Ultra4. It also features the non-points Red Bull World Cup.

The eighth and final race of 2026 takes the series back to Glen Helen Raceway. It is COR’s first West Coast round.
