Rockford Fosgate has created the new PUNCH speaker line, consisting of three models that can be easily installed into any vehicle regardless of make. They will be available in Q1 2026.

“Our PUNCH line has been our proud legacy line, and going into 2026, we wanted to make sure we could provide a whole new upgrade version to continue being the innovative provider of audio systems,” Wayne Connolly, the company’s Director of New Product Development stated. “The new PUNCH line was designed and engineered to make speaker upgrades simple and more user-friendly for all, whether you’re a daily driver or an auto enthusiast looking to build your dream build.

“We’re excited to continue redefining car audio one speaker at a time.”

The P1 model is a three-way coaxial speaker, which replaces OEM speakers for vehicles without separate tweeters. It can be installed with fairly little modification needed.

P2 are two-way convertible speakers that can be used coaxially or in a separate tweeter setup. These are intended for cars with factory tweeters that are embedded in places like the A-post or dashboard corner.

The P3 is a three-way component system for those with multiple speakers or custom stages.

All three models range from 2.5 inches to 6-by-9, and come with VAST (Vertical Atached Surround Technique) 2.0 that increases the speaker cone area by 25%. To make installation easier, they have special frames, mounting holes, and a removable motor cover.

The new models were unveiled Tuesday at SEMA, implemented on the 1963 low-rider ice cream truck of tattoo artist Mister Cartoon as well as a 1970 Chevrolet C10 crew-cab nicknamed “Yosemite”.

“For over 45 years, we’ve continued to redefine the world of audio systems and build lasting, high-performing, and uncompromising systems from the bottom up to bring consumers the best setup for their vehicles of all sizes and needs,” Rockford Fosgate president Zach Luke commented. “With PUNCH, we’re revolutionizing the adaptability of sound systems, with PUNCH fitting in hundreds of modern vehicles in the market. Rockford Fosgate’s legacy lies in PUNCH, and we felt there was no better time and place to make the exclusive debut than SEMA.”
