Save for the COVID-plagued 2020, the Stadium Super Trucks have visted Long Beach every year since their inaugural season in 2013. That trend will continue in 2026 when the series appear on the SoCal streets for a 13th time.
Long Beach was the first street race held by the series and has remained a staple over the next decade-plus. It’s also been the season opener since 2022.
With Robby Gordon’s focus shifting to SCORE and SPEED UTV, the SST calendar has been greatly truncated in recent years. Long Beach was the only race for the trucks in 2025, while 2023 and 2024 had just two race weekends including the Grand Prix.
“The 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will build on the momentum of our golden anniversary celebration with an elevated program across the board,” said Grand Prix Association of Long Beach President and CEO Jim Michaelian. “We’ll have expanded fan activities, world-class wheel-to-wheel racing with full fields and our all-new double-decker Premium Pit Row Suites, which will give us an exciting new look on Shoreline Drive.
“The Acura Grand Prix has never stood still and 2026 will raise the bar again for thrills on-track and entertainment throughout the weekend.”
At the latest edition in April, Max Gordon won the first race while Myles Cheek claimed the second. Although Cheek had a better Race 1 finish than Gordon in Race 2, the latter was the de facto 2025 champion since accumulated one more passing point on Saturday. The trucks did not return to Adelaide after a one-off in 2024.
The 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach is scheduled for April 17–19. Practice and qualifying is expected to be on the 17th followed by one race each day after.
