For the third year in a row, the Asia Cross Country Rally will solely take place in Thailand.
Like in 2025, the rally will begin in Pattaya with the ceremonial start on August 9. Racing kicks off the next day for Prachinburi. Unlike the prior, the race then goes to Nakhon Sawan rather than Khao Yai, and the former will host a loop for Stage 3.
The rally heads further north on the fourth day for Kamphaeng Phet, then Phitsanulok in northern Thailand will have the final day.
The supplementary regulations state the race will have an “overall distance ofa pproxiamtely 2,000 kilometres” across “6 competitive Selective Secitons and 12 Road Sections”.
Chayapon Yotha is the defending winner for Mitsubishi. The 2025 race was plagued by political strife and conflicts that forced the original plan of crossing into Cambodia to be called off as well as two stages.
