Veloce Media Group will take part in the second FIA Extreme H World Cup on October 29–31, marking the British firm’s return to the series.

“We’re delighted to welcome Veloce Media Group back to Extreme H,” series managing director Ali Russell stated. “Since joining, Veloce have been a force to be reckoned with, delivering impressive performances throughout their involvement and cementing themselves as one of the series’ leading teams. Their return will undoubtedly dial up the intensity of this year’s racing, creating even more action for fans to enjoy across three thrilling days of competition.

“Beyond the racing, Veloce share our ambition to push boundaries. Together, we’re committed to pioneering a new wave of innovation and entertainment, combining world-class competition with engaging storytelling to continue evolving what fans can expect from Extreme H. We’re excited to see the team back on the grid and look forward to what we’ll achieve together this season.”

What was then Veloce Racing raced Extreme E from the inaugural season in 2021 to the final year in 2024. After some modest results with a carousel of drivers, the team found its stride with Kevin Hansen and Molly Taylor as the driver pairing. The duo scored three overall wins in 2024 at the Desert X Prix Race 1, Hydro X Prix Race 2, and Copper X Prix Race 2 en route to a third-place points finish.

Veloce was also the final team to win an Extreme E race after sweeping both Hydro X Prix rounds in 2024. This left Hansen and Taylor atop the points standings after four races when the series was canceled to focus on the shift to Extreme H.

In February 2025, Veloce confirmed its commitment to Extreme H. However, the team was not present at that year’s inaugural XH World Cup nor did it run the Extreme E Final Lap. Hansen and Taylor tested the Pioneer 25 together before joining Jameel Motorsport for both, winning the XH World Cup.

“Extreme E gave us the opportunity to demonstrate that high-performance motorsport can also be a powerful platform for driving awareness around sustainability,” commented CEO Daniel Bailey. “Over four seasons, we’re incredibly proud of what the team achieved both on and off the track, from securing race wins and podiums to supporting initiatives that created a lasting positive impact in the communities we visited.

“Now, the FIA Extreme H World Cup represents the next step. Hydrogen has the potential to play a significant role in the future of sustainable mobility, and we’re excited by the prospect of competing at the forefront of that innovation. At Veloce, we’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology while remaining committed to building a more sustainable future, so we’re looking forward to helping write the next chapter of off-road racing.”
