Nasser Racing, a Spanish-based off-road camp and team run by Nasser Al-Attiyah, will be busy when FIA Bajas arrive for the Baja Aragón. Al-Attiyah will drive his Dacia Sandrider under the Nasser Racing banner, while Dacia teammate Cristina Gutiérrez and Portuguese SSV star Gonçalo Guerreiro have also joined their ranks. Gutiérrez will race a Taurus T3 Max while Guerreiro is in his Polaris RZR Pro R.
The team is part of Nasser Racing Camp, an off-road driving experience and school located in Castellfollit del Boix. It’s not uncommon for Al-Attiyah to hold test sessions and other similar events before and after Baja Aragón there, as he did in 2023 and 2024 with the Taurus T3 Max. He won the 2023 race in a Toyota Hilux before finishing third in his Challenger debut at the 2024 edition.
Nasser Racing has also prepared Aragón cars for those like Yasir Seaidan, who ran the 2024 Baja before going on to win the World Rally-Raid Championship in SSV.
Al-Attiyah currently leads the W2RC in Dacia’s first full-time season. After finishing fourth at the Dakar Rally, he won the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and placed tenth at the South African Safari Rally. He also won the 2024 Rallye du Maroc in the Sandrider’s debut race. Al-Attiyah is a six-time Baja Aragón victor, including a three-peat from 2021 to 2023.
Gutiérrez currently races part-time for Dacia since she’s new to the Ultimate category. In June, she signed a contract extension through the 2027 Dakar Rally. The Spaniard won the 2024 Dakar in Challenger with the Taurus before moving up to the top level.
Guerreiro is the Portuguese Cross-Country Championship’s points leader after four rounds, winning the T4 class at the three most recent events (Baja TT Castelo Branco, Baja TT Norte de Portugal, and the overall at Raid Ferraria). In January, he raced the Dakar Rally for the first time as a member of Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team, finishing second in Challenger.
Scheduled for July 24–27, the Baja España Aragón is the fifth round of the 2025 FIA World and European Baja Cups.
