Championship Off-Road Racing is in for what the series calls its “biggest season yet”, featuring five race weekends from October 2025 through May 2026 overseen by a revamped leadership and airing on the RACER Network as part of a new broadcasting deal.

Firebird Motorsports Park in Arizona will host the first two weekends in October and December. After the new calendar begins, CORR heads to California at Glen Helen Raceway and the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in February and March. Finally, the ninth and tenth rounds will conclude the season back at Firebird in May.

Every race will be livestreamed by RACER Network, along with one-hour recap episodes at the end of each round. Formerly known as MAVTV before being acquired by RACER magazine, the network has aired off-road series like NORRA, Best In The Desert, and the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

LOORRS used to be the preeminent short course championship in the West until its demise in 2020. Great American Shortcourse briefly filled the void alongside series like WORCS and CORR. WORCS dropped side-by-sides from its program for 2026, after which CORR has stepped up by expanding its calendar. CORR is not to be confused with the Midwestern Championship Off-Road, who incidentally will end its 2025 calendar at Glen Helen.

Trevor Hocking, the former production guru for LOORRS, has joined CORR as the new series director. His colleague Tim Jones, who was LOORRs’ logistics coordinator, was named race director. Jim Beaver and his media team will oversee a similar capacity for the series, such as hosting the livestream and recap episodes.

“We couldn’t be more excited to reveal everything we’ve been working on to make the upcoming CORR season our best yet,” series owner Jason Ramsay stated. “As our series continues to grow, the time was right to expand both our schedule and staff with exciting additions on both fronts, in addition to an all new television package with RACER Network. With our combined efforts, CORR will offer racers of all ages and skill levels a professional experience and an exciting place to race.”
