Janey Lee and Kylie Marie Walton know how to pose and smile alongside racers. Come September, however, they’ll be racers themselves once more when they do the Baja 400.

They will race the #3961 Can-Am Maverick R in Pro Stock UTV, marking their first time doing a SCORE event.

The two are best friends who are part of the iconic Monster Energy Girls. Working in the roles since 2015, Lee is usually an octagon girl for the Professional Fighters League whereas Walton does so for motocross. Their portfolios also include other sports and disciplines where the energy drink brand is represented like festivals and product releases, as well as freelance modeling.

Lee is an ambassador for Can-Am who previously appeared in fellow Monster-endorsed driver BJ Baldwin’s RECOIL series. Her husband Eric is also a desert racer who’s worked as a crew member for his wife.

In October 2024, Lee and Walton entered the NORRA 500. Unlike SCORE, NORRA offers rally-style racing at low stakes which made it an ideal place for their racing debuts. The two split driving duties and finished 41st overall and 14th in Evolution Production Turbo UTV, after which Lee received the Mary McGee Trophy as the race’s highest finishing woman (as the Driver of Record).

They returned to the cockpit in February for the Toyo Tires Desert Challenge at King of the Hammers, a race they previously worked as Monster Girls. Their race was hampered by early contact that knocked the power steering out of their UTV and a flat tire, the latter of which caused them to finish a lap down after working to change it. The Lee/Walton pair was classified 49th overall and ninth in Pro Stock Turbo.

Can-Am driver and Monster athlete Rodrigo Ampudia prepared their Maverick.

Baja 400 race day is on September 13.
