The BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal will continue to operate in Grândola and Badajoz, the former in its home country and the latter in neighboring Spain. For the third edition in 2026, the race will also add a new stop in Loulé.
Located in Algarve, Loulé is famous for its beaches straddling the Mediterranean Basin and Atlantic Ocean. Previously, the rally finished in Grândola (2024) and the Portuguese capital of Lisbon (2025).
Stage 1 will be a loop of Grândola. The race then crosses into Spain the next day, where the leg concludes in Badajoz in Extremadura. Badajoz hosts its own loop in Stage 3.
Stage 4 brings the race back to Portugal via Loulé, which will then wrap things up with a loop.
The Prologue and Power Stage, the latter now mandatory for 2026, have not been revealed nor are stage lengths. This article will be updated when those are released.
After being the fourth and penultimate round in 2025, Portugal is the second race of the 2026 World Rally-Raid Championship. As part of the new slot, it was moved from September to March.
