UTVs are all the rage these days, apparently even among NFL players.

For Christmas, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers decided to gift Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo RRs to his offensive linemen. They were acquired from Mosites Motorsports before being delivered to the team’s athletic facility at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

It’s not uncommon for quarterbacks to give Christmas presents to their offensive line as thanks for being their blockers. Ironically, for all the jokes about how UTVs are glorified golf carts, Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions gave his guys exactly those.

In 2024, when he was with the Jets, Rodgers broke the bank with a litany of gifts such as a Louis Vuitton passport holder, a stereo speaker, Devil River bourbon, and suits, cologne, and sunglasses from Tom Ford.

Of course, in 131 Off-Road‘s humble and totally unbiased opinion, UTVs are a lot cooler. Given Rodgers’ wealth as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, he probably could’ve splurged a bit more and gone for the Maverick R (though Mosites doesn’t appear to have them in inventory at the moment).

Mosites Motorsports is a powersports dealer with locations in Pittsburgh and North Versailles. Rodgers acquired the side-by-sides from the latter.

Every offensive lineman received one, led by starters Andrus Peat, Isaac Seumalo, Zach Frazier, Mason McCormick, and Troy Fautanu.

The Steelers are currently 9–6 and leading the AFC North with two games to go.
