The FIM revealed the 2026 Bajas World Cup calendar on Friday.
It has the same seven dates as in 2025, with the only slot difference being the swap between the Jordan Baja and Baja TT Escuderia Castelo Branco. Jordan was moved from April to February, while Castelo Branco—also known as the Baja TT do Oeste—is now set for April after taking place in March last year.
Any other changes are to the dates. The Baja TT Dehesa Extremadura, for example, is now in June rather than May. The two Middle Eastern rounds at the end of the calendar are now split between late October and early November rather than both in the latter month.
Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, and Dubai are also on the FIA World and Middle East Baja Cup schedules while Extremadura and Aragón are part of the FIA European Baja Cup (the WBC is also at the latter). Castelo Branco is jointly with the Portuguese CPTT.
Other changes for 2026 include the debut of an FIM Team Title and a new logo. The FIM explains the latter is supposed to “[reflect] the dynamic nature of this highly-specialised discipline, which involves long days in the saddle – often over remote, extremely inhospitable terrain – that tests riders physically and mentally and pushes their machinery to the limit.”
