After an impressive run in the Dakar Classic with the legendary DAF Bull, Tomasz Białkowski will return to his trusty Polaris RZR Pro R for the FIA World Baja Cup. He plans to run the full schedule as permitted by the federation, which begins with this weekend’s Saudi Baja.

“We went back to Saudi Arabia instead of staying home to rest after Dakar,” he quipped. “Of course, that’s not really our style.”

While still competing as Kamena Rally Team, his RZR will be prepared by RD Racing.

Instead of debuting at the Dakar Rally, Białkowski and his usual navigator Dariusz Baśkiewicz opted to enter the Dakar Classic. Kamena formed a partnership with Team de Rooy that placed the two and de Rooy mechanic Adam Grodzki in the cockpit of the Bull, an iconic yellow DAF 3300 once driven by Jan de Rooy.

Despite Białkowski’s relative lack of experience with regularity rallies and the truck, with his only competition in it being the Baja Poland, he impressed at the Classic. He became the first truck driver to win a Dakar stage outright when he topped the Classic for Stage 3, and overcame late issues to finish ninth overall. The latter was the highest finish ever for a Classic truck.

On the other hand, the RZR is more familiar confines. Białkowski won the 2024 FIA European Baja Cup in the SSV class while Baśkiewicz claimed the accompanying title for navigators. They also finished eighth in Pro Stock UTV in their return to the Baja 1000.

Save for Baja Poland with the Bull, Kamena did not enter any Baja Cup events in 2025 as they focused on the Baja 1000 and Dakar Classic.
