In place of the usual Mexican 1000, NORRA will host the much longer Baja 10 Day Rally in 2027 to commemorate the sanctioning body’s 60th anniversary. It will be a peninsula run and back, kicking off in Ensenada before going down to Cabo then returning northward to the starting point.

The race begins with scrutineering on April 23 and 24 in Ensenada, the latter also seeing qualifying. Day 1 is on April 25 from Ensenada to San Quintín, then making stops each day in Bahía de los Ángeles, San Ignacio, Loreto, La Paz, and San José del Cabo.

The first six stages all take place in the month of April, with Cabo being the host of two rest days on May 1 and 2. The Mexican 1000 would ordinarily end here, as it did this past weekend.

However, the 10 Day Rally is twice as long so it’ll travel back up Baja California to Ensenada. With how long the race is, NORRA will also have a second day of registration on May 2 for those who want to join the second half.

The race will conclude on May 6, with Ensenada hosting the awards ceremony on May 7.

The Baja 10 Day Rally was revealed in February.
