The Pionniers Classic will race on its longest route to date in October, spanning roughly 3,200 kilometers in specials from Debdou to Guelmim with eight stages in total.

For comparison, the 2025 race had two thousand kilometers in Selective Sections across seven stages.

Scrutineering will take place in Oujda, located in northeastern Morocco near the border with Algeria on October 15 and 16. Once it’s complete, the rally heads to the start in Debdou. From there, the Classic goes through Bouarfa, Merzouga, M’Hamid, Foum Zguid, and Icht before arriving in Guelmim.

With Oujda along the Mediterranean while Guelmim straddles the Moroccan coast, the race is promoted as a “coast to coast” rally and the “biggest rally raid adventure on the tracks of Dakar”.

“The Pioneers is not just a race. It is a legacy of courage, passion, and pushing beyond limits,” said race organizer Philippe Rey. “Across the desert and through time, the spirit of the Dakar remains: to move forward, to resist, and to push the boundaries. We carry this legacy of adventure rally raid as a promise to transform every obstacle into victory.”
