In 2025, Team Bournezeau Rallye Aventure double dipped at Dakar: Yannick Grèzes raced the Dakar Rally, while his son Tenessy competed in the Dakar Classic. For 2027, the two will compete in the Africa Eco Race instead.
Both Grèzes are French rally drivers and regulars in the France Cup.
Yannick previously raced the Dakar Rally on a bike in 2005 and in a car two years later. He didn’t take part during the South American era before entering the 2022 Dakar Classic in a Suzuki Vitara. Tenessy also did the 2022 Classic in a Toyota Land Cruiser.
Team BRA entered the 2025 Dakar in different events, with Yannick racing a Drakart Scorpion in the Challenger class while Tenessy was in a Land Cruiser for the Classic. The team also fielded a Mitsubishi Pajero for Julien Bessé.
The older Grèzes struggled with mechanical issues early on before rolling in Stage 6. The seventh stage saw a dual retirement as Tenessy broke the rear shocks and got stuck in the sand while Yannick opted to go back to the bivouac due to a strange noise. Yannick was not allowed to rejoin the race, so Tenessy and Bessé pressed on until the latter had an engine failure.
Tenessy ultimately finished 33rd overall and Bessé in 48th.
