The Africa Eco Race, Fenix Rally, and L’Oasis L’Original have created a “bridge program” that offers discounts on registration for each other’s race winners.
The partnership had been announced in May, where the trio jointly affirmed the introduction of “dedicated entry fee conditions”. They did not specify further until Friday.
For starts, each overall winner of the Africa Eco Race in January—Bike, Car, SSV, and Truck —is to get a 50% discount off the Fenix Rally’s entry fee if they want to race in October. This also applies to the Africa Eco Race Historic winner for the L’Oasis L’Original, which will be held concurrently with Fenix. Everyone else who ran the 2026 AER will get 10% off for either event.
Such a deal means Kevin Gallas (Bike), David Gérard (Car), Eric Bernard (SSV), and Gerrit Zurrmond (Truck) will receive the discount should they register for Fenix as they won the AER overalls for their respective categories.
Likewise, the winners of this year’s Fenix Rally and L’Oasis L’Original will have 25% waived from their 2027 Africa Eco Race entry fees. Everybody else will get 10%.
The deal also includes 5% discounts for the 2027 AER for those who ran RBI Sport’s other events Baja Europe and Rallye Breslau.
The discount still applies for AER registrants in addition to their 10% discount for early registration.
