The official gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Galactic Racer released on Thursday as part of Sony’s State of Play.

Unlike past Star Wars racing games, which were released around the time of The Phantom Menace, Galactic Racer does not revolve around podracing. Still, that discipline is officially confirmed to be represented as well via a shot of Ben Quadinaros racing on Tatooine at the end of the trailer.

Sebulba, the antagonist of Episode I’s podracing scene, was already confirmed when he appeared in the reveal trailer during The Game Awards in December. Quadinaros also appeared in TPM but solely as comic relief as a DNS in the Boonta Eve Classic, though he shows up in later media too and is established as Sebulba’s chief rival.

The gameplay trailer also provides a closer look at the protagonist Shade, who’s shown partaking in a “friendly exhibition race” on an unnamed planet. It is interspersed with cuts of racing across planets like Jakku, going through the Imperial Star Destroyer graveyard introduced in The Force Awakens.

Galactic Racer is being developed by Fuse Games, which was formed by former staffers at Criterion who worked on Burnout.

A specific release date was not immediately revealed, though it is confirmed for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
