G Rally Team is set to be rebranded as KTM X-Bow Off-Road, building UTVs for competition in the SSV category.

Guillaume de Mévius revealed the plan in an interview with Forbes Belgique. His family is part of a consortium that bought the X-Bow sports car line from KTM last fall as the latter, who was undergoing major restructuring, wanted to focus on motorcycles.

“Our goal is to add an off-road component to the business,” he explained. “We are going to make production-model SSVs, which are accessible to the general public, alongside a racing version prepared in our own workshops. It is a major industrial project that is now taking shape.”

G Rally Team makes the OT3 and G-ECKO cars for the Challenger class. The G-ECKO is currently used by “KTM X-Bow powered by G Rally Team”, a project formed ahead of the 2026 season with Puck Klaassen and Charles Munster as its inaugural drivers. Klaassen won two stages at January’s Dakar Rally, while Munster finished runner-up in class at last week’s BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal.

Although the de Méviuses now co-own the X-Bow, Guillaume oversees the division alongside G Rally Team. His father Grégoire was a founder of Overdrive Racing (who built the OT3) but has his own vintage rally program nowadays, while his younger brother Ghislain created G Rally Team but is busy with Wavre Indoor Karting nowadays.

Guillaume still plans to compete in the Ultimate class in a Mini, though he hasn’t ruled out returning to Overdrive and Toyota amid recent struggles with X-raid. In the meantime, his focus has been on developing the G Rally–X-Bow program. He didn’t race the Rally-Raid Portugal but was present as a team manager.

Being for production UTVs, the SSV class is generally filled with Polaris RZRs and Can-Am Mavericks since those are the most prominent manufacturers for consumers and racers.
