The inner workings underneath Honda Off-Road Factory Racing’s Ridgeline and Passport were put up for sale by team boss Jeff Proctor on March 29 at Race-DeZert’s classifieds page.

The asking price is about $449,000. The buyer can choose either the Ridgeline or Passport body, or a new Trophy Truck body from TSCO.

It comes with most of the truck’s organs and skeleton such as the chassis, carbon fiber dashboard, MoTeC electronics like the paddle shift kit, rear-view camera, Coan billet converter, Baja Designs light package, 110-gallon carbon fuel cell, and Bluetooth radio intercom system. There is no engine since the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 was returned to Honda, though Proctor noted it is “prime for a big block V8.” The Albins ST6 sequential gearbox is also available for an extra $20 thousand.

Proctor led and drove for the team with factory support from American Honda since 2015, with the Ridgeline competing in SCORE’s Class 7 from debut until his retirement in 2022. When Ethan Ebert was promoted from the Honda Talon division to take his place starting in 2023, Honda built a new second-generation Ridgeline for competition in the premier Trophy Truck class.

The Ridgeline TT made its debut at that year’s Baja 1000, finishing 11th in class. Ebert then finished third in Unlimited Truck 2WD at the 2024 Mint 400.

It was replaced by the Honda Baja Passport in 2025, though this was mostly just swapping out one body for the other. Moving to the new Trophy Truck 2WD category, the Passport was the fastest qualifier in class at the Baja 500 and Baja 1000. Although it finished second for 2WD at the Mint, what would be its Mint was cut short by a punctured fuel cell.

American Honda shut down both the Passport and Talon programs in December. Ebert has since switched to late models on a full-time basis.
