Jader Giraldi has put the KTM 450 Rally Replica that he raced in the 2023 to 2025 Dakar Rallies up for sale.

The bike is nicknamed “Pink Panther” for its livery, which was also reflected on Giraldi’s firesuit and helmet. He rode it to a 55th in Rally2 at his Dakar debut in 2023, then competed in Original by Motul over the next two years. However, he retired from both after crashing in the 2024 race then bowed out after seven stages in 2025.

It underwent an extensive rebuild after the 2024 crash, which Giraldi noted included replacing the suspensions forks, bearings, wiring, and engine.

Giraldi switched to the Dakar Classic for 2026, finishing 23rd overall as the navigator for Paolo Bedeschi.

“For me, it was a magnificent adventure companion, and together we experienced indescribable emotions. But in the end, it is still an object even if full of symbolism,” Giraldi explained on Friday. “Since I’m currently working on other projects and don’t have the space or the finances at this stage of my life, I’d rather someone else get to enjoy its roar and qualities.”

The bike comes with two engines: a racing motor with about 80 hours of use and another for training, along with extra wheel rims, tires, and spare parts from his Dakar tool crate that he estimates to be about €1,500. He also included a paper roadbook setup, and satellite bracket.

“It would be perfect for competing in an AER or a privateer Dakar, or simply for displaying in your living room,” he remarked. “If you take it out on the street in pink, people will react to it like it’s a Ferrari.”
