The Rallye du Maroc has a new title sponsor. Well, technically a returning one.

At the race’s press conference on Tuesday, organizer Pro Dunes announced OLA Energy has acquired naming rights, branding it the “Rallye OLA Energy du Maroc”.

OLA Energy used to be called OiLibya before rebranding to the current name in 2018 to better reflect its presence across several African countries rather than just Libya. Under its previous identity, the company was behind the RdM being called the “Rallye OiLibya du Maroc” from 2010 to 2017.

Before OiLibya, the RdM was called the “Shamrock Rallye du Maroc” or “Shamrock Rally” for short.

OLA operates in several energy sectors such as gas stations and providing fuel and lubricants for industrial and marine industries.

The Rallye OLA Energy du Maroc is the third race on the World Rally-Raid Championship with a title sponsor, joining the BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal and the Desafío Ruta 40 YPF. Incidentally, all three are backed by fuel companies.

The penultimate race of the 2026 W2RC season, the RdM is scheduled for September 28 to October 3. 2026 is the start of a new era for the rally under Pro Dunes ownership, which also includes the addition of a vintage category.
