With the 2027 Africa Eco Race half a year away, the organizers are on tour. This will include going to the Goodwood Festival of Speed for the first time on July 9–12.

Goodwood is the second stop on the AER Tour. On Thursday and Friday, the race was in Poland alongside Rallye Breslau, which begins on Sunday. After Goodwood are stops in the Netherlands on July 22, the French city of Valloire on August 26–30, and the Czech Republic in September.

“Throughout the coming weeks, the AFRICA ECO RACE team will be present at several major events across Europe to meet rally-raid enthusiasts, future competitors, teams, and everyone dreaming of experiencing the African adventure,” reads a statement from organizers.

“Whether you are already registered, currently preparing your project, or simply curious to learn more about the race, the AER TOUR is the perfect opportunity to meet us, ask your questions, and start building your journey to Dakar.”

Timothy Bradshaw will be at Goodwood with his Mini Cooper S R53, with which he plans to run the 2027 Africa Eco Race Historic. Bradshaw was named the AER’s liaison for the United Kingdom and Ireland in March.

While Goodwood has always had a steady flow of rally raid vehicles, the Duke of Richmond especially wanted to promote the discipline in 2026. Several Dakar Rally and Dakar Classic cars are expected to be present, including Toyota Gazoo Racing’s DKR GR Hilux and Gazelles Offroad Team’s 1988 Land Rover 110.
