On October 12–17, the 100th running of the International Six Days Enduro will take place in Portugal. Just under two thousand kilometers away from Grândola in Mies, the Racing Motorcycle Museum has opened a temporary exhibition dedicated to the legendary enduro.

Fabio Muner, the marketing director of the FIM, explained the exhibit’s goal is to “talk and explain to our passionate fans about the history of the oldest competition on two wheels, so the International Six Days of Enduro. We welcome you here in Mies, Switzerland, to discover these iconic motorcycles and incredible helmets, jerseys, and memorabilia who wrote the history of the International Six Days of Enduro.”

The ISDE was first held in 1913 as the International Six Day Trial. A 100-year celebration took place in 2013, but it wasn’t until 2026 that the 100th edition took place because it was canceled in 1914–1919 (World War I), 1939–1946 (World War II), and 2020 (COVID-19).

The exhibition features several bikes throughout the race’s history on display, along with equipment like helmets and jerseys. Other items on display include programs and buttons.

To celebrate this remarkable milestone, the Racing Motorcycle Museum invites you to discover a new temporary exhibition dedicated to the oldest FIM motorcycle competition.

Historic and modern motorcycles from legendary manufacturers including Triumph, KTM, Husqvarna, SWM and JAWA illustrate how Enduro machinery has evolved across generations.

But the story of the 6DAYS is also the story of the people who raced it.

Alongside the motorcycles, discover a unique collection of helmets, jerseys, trophies, medals and other original memorabilia connected to riders and different editions of the event — each piece carrying its own story and a part of the 6DAYS legacy. From machines to memories, from past champions to modern-day competitors, relive the heritage of an event that has shaped motorcycle sport for more than a century.

The Racing Motorcycle Museum opened to the public on February 18. Besides the ISDE showcase, the museum also recently added an exhibit on Marelli ECUs.

With this being the 100th race, it makes sense the FIM would want to pull out all the stops. Another promotion is a multi-episode documentary series on YouTube that’s releasing a new episode on a weekly basis.
