The inaugural San Felipe SpeedFest will take place on January 14–17, 2027, as a collaboration between several different sanctioning bodies.

NORRA announced the Speed Fest in August, hoping to capitalize on SCORE leaving San Felipe for Mexicali. Several sanctioning bodies are involved including the Legacy Racing Association in partnership with NORRA, Desert Mayhem, the Record Off-Road Series, and Stadium Super Trucks.

The inaugural NORRA Legacy 300, jointly hosted by the two series, will host qualifying on the 15th followed by two days of racing. On the 16th, the race will be held across three stages of 65, 73, and 80 miles. Day 2 will have a 75-mile lap on Desert Mayhem’s southern course.

Desert Mayhem and Record will run the El Jefe 300 on the 16th. While this race is held concurrently with NORRA Legacy and both begin in the same location (near the arch at the intersection between Mar de Cortez Sur and Chetumal), it heads to a different course south of the city. The El Jefe 300 spans three laps.

SST will hold a demo on the 15th at 7 PM, following a day of NORRA Legacy qualifying and the drivers’ meeting.
