2027 marks the 18th edition of the Africa Eco Race. The route was revealed on Thursday, spanning 13 stages from Tangier to Dakar.

Tangier also hosted the start in 2026. From there, the race heads through Mkenes, Erfoud, M’Hamid, Assa, and Laayoune until reaching Dakhla for the rest day on January 30. From Dakhla are a pair of loops of Agounit and Tabrankout before going into Senegal.

Teveritt and Mpal serve as the final two stages before heading to the finish on Lac Rose.

“13 days. Three countries. One route, built new every year by the team that knows this terrain better than anyone,” proclaims the organizers.
