The Africa Eco Race Marketplace has officially launched. As the name suggests, it is a hub for teams and racers to post ads for things like training, vehicles, gear, and other services.

“By creating this space dedicated to the Africa Eco Race community, our objective was simple: to provide a place where all rally-raid stakeholders—competitors, teams, service providers, and enthusiasts—can connect, exchange ideas, and freely offer their services,” explained race executive director Anthony Schlesser. “This initiative responds to a demand expressed by both our competitors and partners, who wanted a tool that would facilitate connections before, during, and after the rally.

“We hope this new platform will strengthen exchanges, create new collaboration opportunities, and further nurture the spirit of sharing, solidarity, and mutual support that defines the DNA of the Africa Eco Race.”

The market is split into seven categories: “Stage / Formation” for training classes, “Location véhicule” for vehicle rental, “Assistance”, “Sale”, “Mechanics”, “Transport / Logistics”, and “Accommodation”. These are then further divided by specific vehicle types like cars, SSVs, bikes, AER Historic competitors, and the Raid categories.

Ads are posted free of charge, though they are reviewed by the organizers before going live.

Yamaha was one of the first clients on the marketplace, posting an advertisement for the Ténéré Spirit Experience. Jean Pascal Besson’s Rallye Raid Concept also has a listing to lease out the team’s MD Optimus and Can-Am Mavericks, while David Frétigné is offering a training program at his Honda Off-Road Center.

The marketplace can be accessed here.
