Puck Klaassen will do the Goodwood Festival of Speed’s Hillclimb in the G-ECKO.
Klaassen is currently leading the World Rally-Raid Championship’s Challenger standings after three races. She finished fifth in class at the Dakar Rally to start the season, then was seventh in Portugal followed by third in Argentina; excluding non-points drivers, she was fifth at the former and second for the latter.
The G-ECKO is G Rally Team’s successor to the OT3. The KTM X-Bow, a street sports car produced by the motorcycle manufacturer of the same name, has been part of G Rally’s portfolio since last fall. G Rally plans to rebrand to KTM X-Bow Off-Road and build cars under the X-Bow name for the SSV class, but in the meantime is fielding the G-ECKO under the “KTM X-Bow powered by G Rally Team” banner for klaassen and Charles Munster.
G Rally is among several rally raid teams invited to Goodwood this weekend alongside Ford and Toyota, João Monteiro, Gazelles Offroad Team, 205 Africa Raid, Defender Rally, and Saga Classic.
